Much like the other units in this office building, the client wanted a CATA+ fit-out to improve the value of the unit and improve the desirability for the target market. The existing unit has 3.3m high ceilings, it was painted in brilliant white paint on all walls and ceiling, which left the space looking very flat and utilitarian. The design intent is to transform this space into an inviting and homely place of work. Etruscan red paint will be used on the ceiling with the intent of cocooning the space and creating a cohesive scheme.
To improve the functionality of the space, we added glass partitions to ensure the light can travel throughout the space. A new kitchen and bespoke banquette offset from the original curved wall creating a tactile multi-use space. The FF&E has been carefully selected to create a perfect balance of texture, natural materials and colour throughout to ensure the new office design fulfils the design intent.
